Detailed lameness and comprehensive exams for your Equine athlete or companion. Addressing issues large and small to keep your horse healthy and performing at their best. Tools to identify common issues include joint flexions, palpation, hoof testers, and diagnostic blocking to confirm or rule out suspected areas.

Portable digital radiology gives instant images of your horse. State of the art technology allows for quick and easy set up to give you superb image quality within minutes.









Ultrasound

Focusing on lameness, our ultrasound offers cutting edge technology; excellent image quality and video clips of ultrasound are available. Portable ultrasound enables us to come to you to evaluate your horse and re-evaluate as your athlete heals.








Acupuncture

Manipulates the body’s balance by regulating the flow of QI or energy. It began in ancient China 2700 years ago and first gained acceptance in the US in the 1970’s. Acupuncture stimulates a series of interactions between the nervous, endocrine and immune systems of the body. These interactions can help resolve numerous issues in our equine athletes from muscle soreness, respiratory issues to neurologic function.







Chinese Herbal Medicine

According to Dr. Huisheng Xie many studies have shown Chinese Herbal formulas can benefit those animals suffering from numerous illnesses. Respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurologic and endocrine disorders are only a few of the disorders that may benefit from herbal treatments. Chinese Herbal treatment has four goals:


  1. To cure disease
  2. To stabilize and prevent disease progression
  3. Limit side effects and enhance effectiveness of western therapies.
  4. Promote quality of life for those with severe or life threatening illnesses.
